Meeting of Consultative Committee of Ministry of Water Resources held at Guwahati on 13th February, 2013 under the Chairmanship of Shri Harish Rawat, Hon’ble Minister of Water Resources, Government of India. The Hon’ble Minister of Water Resources chaired ‘Brainstorming Session on the water issues in the North Eastern States’. The Hon’ble Minister along with Hon’ble Members of Parliament, accompanied by the officers from Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India and Government of Assam, undertook visit to Majuli Island to review the progress of protection measures undertaken by Brahmaputra Board. »
